Charlotte is very shallow at the point guard spot. Banks would be a great spell for Felton, and give them a young PG to mature along with Wallace, Okafor and Morrison. Herrmann's playtime in Charlotte seems to be more confusing than Banks here, as he will have an awesome game one day and not play but 5 minutes the next. The guy can slash beautifully and is great at the 3, especially for 6'9. With Adam Morrison expected to play more and more minutes this season, Hermmann is a bit redundant for them imo. I think he would be great at the 4 for us, as he can run well, hit the 3 great, and has the size to spell marion at PF for the little amount of minutes Marion will sit out. We save an asston of money and gain a great bench player.

The trade works now, but not sure what summer FAs the Bobcats will pick up. They have 14 players under contract right now so I doubt they will be adding any of their summer prospects. Charlotte can take on Bank's contract and still be under the cap, but they may be hesitant on taking him on with an okafor extension in their future. With Sean May out, it's another iffy situation to let Herrmann go. However I think a solid backup PG is definitely something they'd consider. Cash considerations and Portland's 2nd round pick could put it over the top to get it done.

For the Suns it would be nothing but good.

But since he is an Argentine then people should look at him with disdain right?

Just kidding, he is a solid player and would fit on any team in the L.

Glad you seeked me out on another thread to take a pot shot at me by spinning what I said completely out of context. Great joke LOL!

Morrison has had significantly more minutes than Herrmann in the last 4 games. Morrison had significantly more minutes than Herrmann last season. Herrmann's performance compared to the amount his coach played him last season boggles the mind, and makes it even more confusing that he isnt playing the crap out of him in preseason. His minutes are so streaky you cant tell if the bobcats know what they have. also keep in mind, Morrison laid a monster egg his freshman year, yet is getting more minutes and even started one or two preseason games. The bobcats actions so far indicate that they want Morrison to be backup SF, and may move to starter for more games than last year.

I think this is one of the few possibilities we would have in moving banks and getting value in return. He has a wicked baseline slash game and a solid 3 pt shot.

Again all highly dependent on Banks improving his value.... well D'Antoni is the other guy which this is highly dependent on...

Put Banks in there for 30 Mins for the first 15 games and watch him put up 14/4/3... then trade him. Good rest for Nash too.

Hermann is a good player, as most say, he just need a legitimate role in that team..

Morrison??... I'm expecting him to be the player they drafted... a 20/5/4 player... he has improved his shooting apparently... I think he needed that adjustment period to the NBA defenses and such...

Yeah, my idea was to play Banks' guts out till the end of the year, trade him before the deadline and use the allstar break to get him used to the team. I think he could play a much more significant role here than whatever Charlotte has unplanned for him. I think Banks would do very well alongside Jrichardson too

You are delusional if you think Charlotte buys into this. Bobkitty's FO was extremely happy with Walter over the last 20+ games last yr and he is pencilled in as a solid contributor for this one.

And nobody....

NOBODY

is interested in Banks for a 17 million commitment (until he proves otherwise)

would you do a sign and trade with Cleveland,
Varejao for Banks?

Everyone would do that trade except Cleveland and Varejao. With the way big men are overvalued by attrition, that trade costs us Barbosa at the very least.
