I thought that the reason that Lee was helping him is because Adama felt he needed the help after the explosion. Lee volunteered. If he was healthy, he didn't need Lee.

Ding. Ding. Ding. Technically he probably didn't need Lee. However, for the purpose of the case, he wanted Lee. We got to see exactly why. His character was all about using advantages whenever and wherever he could. Something he picked up from Lee's grandfather.

Wow. This show may very well have orbited the shark, so-to-speak. Not only did the case fall apart, but it did so in a very predictable and ho-hum manner. It was obvious they weren't going to kill Baltar. It was obvious Lee was going to destroy the case. It was obvious Adama was being convinced by his son. I think they by far made the 'safe' choice in the trial. And WTF, where was the friggin' vice president, who predicted this fiasco? I think he should have been right in the thick of it.

And IF they make Tigh a cylon, then that's it. End of the road. I believe, instead, that it is a form of the Hand of God original episode, where they began to receive transmissions from what might have been earth. I think those 4 just happened to be the 4 who tuned in to it, who managed to hear it, and were in the right place at the right time.

I don't know. The episode was very cool on one hand, but rather disappointing on the other. An enigmatic cap to an absolutely abysmal last half of the third season. This show is in a 'meh' spot for me now.

Yeah, well, if they wanted to increase viewership, they shouldn't have filled most of the 2nd half of the 3rd season with crap. I absolutely LOVED the show and couldn't get enough of it, but it got so bad that I actually dreaded watching each week, because I knew how lame it would be. I sincerely hope, since this will be the last season, that they throw everything they have at it.

UHD finally got to the season finale tonight and I was blown away. It was fantastic I thought, pure entertainment. I guess some things could be taken as forced, like Lee getting on the stand, but still...I thought it was brilliant.

I am shocked about Tigh, but I guess it will be explained. I love the way they found out...was creepy and awesome.

So according to that article, they ARE four of the final five cylons. But they are different than the new ones...

I can't wait for 2008. I guess there is going to be some TV/DVD release of a few episodes earlier on that talk of a different plot in flashbacks, and that will be a part of season four.

I love this show.

I think there are a lot of original BSG fans that never gave the show a shot. I also think how they structured the breaks since season 1 couldn't have helped. Then again Sci-fi has stated in the latest interview that they did not pull the plug on the show and that it in fact was Ronald Moore.

I suspect the show probably would have gone on 1 more season. I would have loved to see this show go on for at least 1 more season. The fact that it is ending now is very disappointing.

At least one thing I wanted before the show ends sounds like it's happening. The Rumor is we are going to see the original Cylons in some way at the end. That will be way cool.

By the way, UHD showed the 3-hour premier again last weekend...and I have to say, going back and watching it now, after getting to know everyone...was so much better than the first time I saw it.

I was really into it and totally felt way more grief over what was happening to man, the suddenness of it all, the destruction, etc.

It was a damn good premier....

I agree. Actually I think only having a limited number of episodes has the opposite effect of having fillers. I think we are going to see shortened explanations of some of the lose ends. They won't have enough time to fully flesh some of the lingering story lines. Especially, if they are building towards a big finish. It should be exciting.

Um, then you would have had to program the thoughts and memories of a vast number of other individuals throughout history, or else he would never have made it through life. If you're saying he was created just before he met Adama, then I call crap. That's a heck of a lot of coincidence, and the Cylons had no way of knowing who Adama was or that he would even make it into the military.

Simply put: if all of these new people are cylons, the show just died. Over-the-top, schlocky, soap opera crap. What next? Adama's long lost, left-for-dead brother was secretly Cain's sister who had a sex change operation to join the academy?

Yeah, but that's weak explaining away, IMO. Just cheap backtracking to cover for a stupid plot twist. They had better be the Light People, or at least not Cylons. I mean, it's like Han, Leia, and Obi Wan suddenly becoming bad guys, or Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas deciding to grab the Ring for Sauron. Would have been idiotic for them, just like it would be for Battlestar.
