Blow to the backfield: Beanie Wells (turf toe) has been placed on IR-Designated To Return list. Earliest he can play is Nov. 25

Unfortunately it is always something.

Get well Chris, we will need you for the playoff push at the end.

Honestly, did anyone think this wasn't going to happen?

Good, not great player. He's a major injury liability in my mind. Unfortunately after Williams the cupboardis bare.

I think this will be a priority in the offseason and could lead the Cards to not re-sign LSH. LSH just does not bring much as a RB and is not dynamic enough of a returner.

Man, rough week on the injury front. Nothing can derail a promising start faster than the injury bug!!

I guess the next time we get to feed the bean, it'll be with some Thanksgiving turkey.

Do injury prone college players ever make good pros???

Hercules can't help your team if he's on the IR!!!

We don't need him Ryan Williams is Barry Sanders Lite.

sorry but several years as a servicable starter is not a bust. Maybe you could call him a reach now but hes far from a bust.

You are right, of course, but let me play devil's advocate.

In all those years, we can count on one hand how many games he's significantly impacted. If you take Beanie off this team during that time, how much would our record have really changed, if at all? 1, 2 more losses? Maybe?

Contrast that with Patrick Peterson, who contributed greatly to at least 4 wins in a single year.

I am severely disappointed with Beanie.

the #5 pick vs. the #31? Beanie had some nice games last year. He is kinda like Cedric Benson. Now that was a bust. Kinda. :)
