I also thought he was a better ball handler. He seems to lose it often.

hated it when he'd get the defensive rebound and dribble all the way down the court. when he should have been passing it to the pg and running the wing.

For a guy 6-10, he certainly looks smooth with his handle and jumper, but so did Earl Clark.

I dont know why they list him at 6-10, he isnt even close and it only adds to the false perceptions attached to him.

have we played much of a zone D this year?
maybe that might mask Beasley a little, maybe insert tucker in along with beasley and try some zone???

You're wasting Tucker's great man defense ability if you play zone. And in the NBA zones dont really work. Teams will use them for brief stints to force the opposition to adjust but you dont see zones at this level. NBA players are too good at breaking them down with penetration and perimeter shooting.

Ya of course zone isnt played full time in the nba, or even for long stretches at that.

We can switch it up time to time you know is all I'm saying. Just trying to mask Beasley somehow haha

If Beasley was not shooting so terribly he would be a pretty good offensive player already. Shooting and defense is what he has to work on and I am pretty sure these things still can be fixed.

Face it slinslin, Beasley is who he is. No one is going to magically fix him. You must not have taken down your Earl Clark poster because you think someone will magically fix him too right?
