Just wanted to ask somebody to post a reminder Friday or Saturday morning that the Bengals game is Saturday at 1pm EST. Old guys like me and 40year might forget. Especially with it being Christmas Eve.

Thanks in advance.

Something useful I discovered a few weeks ago.
If you have NFL mobile application on the Verizon network you can listen to the game on the radio at no cost. Home or away team.
If you're traveling and you have a smart phone, you're not totally boned.

I've been following them for 23 years and I feel old. :D

Exactly. Cards Czar doesn't know what he is talking about. Everyone knows the way the Cardinals play ages their fans in dog years.

What is your secret-----I am just a few months short of 70 and have to confess that I am starting to feel old. Things just don't work like before, and I get tired very easily anymore.

Let me tell you. It isn't just the years. It's the miles also. In my younger days, I must have had two Guardian Angels. There is no way only one could keep up. :D

My Father-in-Law is visiting us for the next couple of weeks. He turns 90 next February. He is still sharp as a tack, but isn't as physically active as he used to be. He does his own yard work and plants a garden every year which keeps him active enough to be in pretty good shape. He makes the plane trip out here and back by himself. He is still really enjoying life, so I guess there is hope for us all.

I remember years ago when the NFL used to schedule a number of Saturday games in December, Cards had a Saturday game in SDS on a frigid completely clear but very windy day. We knocked the holy smoke out of the giants, 19-0. A bunch of giants fans with bald heads spelled out Handley Must Go on the tops of their heads. It was a really good day. I hope this Saturday game is another one I'll remember warmly twenty years from now.

For that matter, all of the games (except Sunday night) are on Saturday, assumed due to Christmas. I don't remember this happening in the past, surely there were other Christmas days falling on Sunday. Which means the game won't be nationally televised in all likelihood. (It would be if there only 1-2 games on Saturday)

Yes it is due to Christmas. The last 2 times were 1994 and 2005 and most of the games were on Saturday. Of course we don't want to talk about the last time Arizona played on Christmas.

I just looked it up:

2010: Cardinals 27 Cowgirls 26
1995: Cowgirls 37 Cardinals 13.

I forgot the Cards had that Saturday Christmas game last year. 1995 Buddy Ryan leaves the stadium and his position as Head Coach.

Love the old-timers, cheers guys. And Merry Xmas.

(Hate the early games, I'm drunk by 3, couch-napping by 4, annoying the wife before 6, throws us both off)
