Tom Thibodeau coached Kat for 3 seasons. I'd be shocked if he didn't ask him to play some defense.
Oh your right. Thibs is as defensive minded as it gets.
yup it’s a KAT problem

Nah. CP3 can go to Book at any time and Book will say "yes sir." If CP3 is not back, it will be because he WANTS to be somewhere else (like LA) not because he does not want to be here. CP3 came here to play with Book and he does nothing but lavish praise on him.i thought Booker learned from Laker game 3
we squeaked by again because the Clips only scored 13 in the 4th
but 1 of those points was courtesy of Booker's dumb*** T
as feared, he over-reacted to a PG bump, got himself in foul trouble, and shifted into hot-head mode
-- held the ball, forced shots and turnovers, blowing 3 straight chances to distance us from the Clips in the final minutes
ironically, the best thing the Suns had going for them in the 4th, besides their terrific D, was Booker fouling out
if the Suns don't win it all, CP3 may not be back.
fact is, his split from the Rockets was fueled by their playoff elimination that resulted from Harden's constant isolation ball at crunch time
Sigh.if we don't win it all
proposed trade: Booker for Lillard
Sigh.
I think Lillard is overrated. His defense is horrible.

Booker is 24 and has room for improvements. Lillard will be 31 next year and won’t change. Hell no.if we don't win it all

I call Bull unless you are only counting offensive clutch shooting. Lillard is a horrible defender while Book has been recognized as a good defender this year. On this team it’s not offense that has turned this team around it’s defense. This teams gets worse defensively with that trade and gets older while giving up a 24 year old who can get better.i just checked the age difference, which is, indeed, a problem
but Lillard is a much better clutch shooter (best in the league)
and, i believe, like most, i'd rank him ahead of Booker in general
Book looked like a top 10 player a few weeks ago
but not today
there are too many other players that are more often unstoppable
Booker has gotten better each year. What leads you to believe he won’t get better but I.Q.?!? At 24 that defies logic.i do believe Booker's bball iq will improve with experience
but i think his decision making will always be his flaw
i'd only keep him if he can paired with a bright point guard who can lead
CP3 won't be around for long
as of May "Lillard has scored 149 points in clutch situations this season, per NBA.com. That’s 20 more than anyone else." - The Ringer
they also ranked Booker 20 and Lillard 11
Lillard has also been ranked in the top 5 worst defensive players before. The team doesn’t need less defense for the sake of offense.as of May "Lillard has scored 149 points in clutch situations this season, per NBA.com. That’s 20 more than anyone else." - The Ringer

Having a good PG around him minimizes that. Lillard will never improve defensively. That will not change either. What makes you think making this team worse defensively makes us better when every analyst out there says it’s defense that has turned around the franchise?!as i said, i do think Booker will improve with experience
but we probably all know people who were bad decision makers at age 24
and were still making bad decisions at 34 (if not their whole life)
and the kind of decisions i'm talking about are tied to his emotions
those are the hardest to change
