WOW. He told Cleveland he would sign for the MLE, and then he pulls this....his agent isn't going to be a popular man around the league.

Wow bad day to be a Cavs fan. Boozer is going to be the next McNugget. Someone who scars a franchise so badly people are still pissed off years later.

I expect someone with a trade exception to try and pick up Big Z or Wagner. The nuts on 910 are reporting that it's a 6 year, $68 million deal.

Ouch! Cleveland must be devastated.

Boy, I wonder how Boozer and his agent are going to explain this.

Why would he do this? Do you think maybe he doesn't like LeBron James?

From Jerry Maguire

"Show me the money"

That's how they're going to explain it.

The Cavs are probably going to trade Z to Atlanta I would guess to get under the cap and match boozer.

Atlanta can take Z without losing much...that's how far under the cap they are.

Ah, right, I didn't think of that. They haven't lost him yet.

Now that's a horrible trade for the Suns. Rent Ilgauskas for one year? What the heck for?

Could resign him if they wanted to. It's better than trading Marion for LaFrentz. :p

Didn't you suggest Marion for Z before?

We could resign Z next year and get some capspace. If we don't resign him we will have quite some capspace next year.

No it isn't. LaFrentz is a better fit and has had fewer injury issues.

No, but I know what you're referring to. I mentioned it as a possibility of something the Suns might be thinking about, but I didn't make it clear whether I liked the idea. It was my mistake to present it in a confusing way.

I don't want Ilgauskas for Marion. I agree with others who say that Ilgauskas is too slow for the team the Suns are developing.

If we don't resign him we will have quite some capspace next year.

To do what with? Add more guards?

Z is definately better than Raef and will be cheaper. He was also healthy this year with Raef was not. Also Lafrentz is also only 6'11.

If he's definitely better than LaFrentz (which I do not think he is), then why will he be cheaper? Because he'll re-sign with the Suns at a discount, just to be a nice guy?

I got an idea:

Let's get a hat, and put the names of all the centers in the league in it, and every day, we can draw a name, and for that day everyone can conceive of every possible trade regarding that center and Marion! Yeah!

Today's Pick: Zydrunas Ilgauskus

Tomorrow: Calvin Booth

Saturday: Jarron Collins

Stay Tuned!
