if they express interest.

I wouldnt think he is high on their list with their current priorities.

Maybe though.

This might be a Rooney rule ploy by Denver. Sorry, I do not know if any of their current coaches or interviews where black. I hope this is just not a waste of Bowles' time when the Jets and Falcons seem to be the serious teams and Atlanta having the best scenario in my opinion :)

I havent seen anything at all reported that Denver wants to interview Bowles, have you?

in fact I just searched Bowles on twitter to see and I dont see anything about Denver. I dont believe they have expressed any interest at all yet.

Can confirm that Todd Bowles is having dinner with Woody Johnson, Mike Maccagnan, Charley Casserly and Ron Wolf tonight.

One on one with Woody Johnson - not good. Meeting with the people who tell Woody Johnson who he should hire - good.

Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles is staying the night in New Jersey and will meet again with Jets officials in the morning.

I like Bowles and hate to lose him. However, as others have mentioned on the Board I also don't think that the Jets will be a good fit for him. Their defense isn't bad, it's their offense that is a disaster. Additionally, the New York press takes no prisoners and will eat Bowles alive. The best place in IMO for Bpwles to succeed would be Atlanta.

I can't find confirmation online but friends and family of mine in and around New York are hearing that the Jets have already made an offer but that Bowles intends on keeping his prior commitment to meet with Atlanta again tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised if he took the NYJ job seeing as how that is basically home to him.

Bowles quiet style may be a breath of fresh air to the Jets after the bombastic full of hot air Ryan. Don't think there will be foot fetish, pinup tattoos, etc., etc. if he is HC. I think Ryan is a good coach but he is his own worse enemy sometimes with his bravado and bluster.

From all reports Bowles' quiet sideline demeanor can be 180 degrees in the locker room if it's needed. I think he might be a good fit if he gets the right OC to go with him.

Todd Bowles RT @josephperson: #Jets have canceled their Wed. interview w/ #Panthers DC Sean McDermott. Sounds like they have their guy.

Did Jets have anyone other than McDermott scheduled for interview?

Are they actually going to let him leave to Atlanta? I would have to believe they are putting on a full court press to close the deal.

Sometimes it's harder to build a team around your coaching strength. You feel like you can coach up lesser talents and don't see folk for who they are.

I think Bowles will have a nice honeymoon because he comes off cerebral like Belicheck, except that by all accounts players love him.

Jets have former Cardinals DC Todd Bowles a 4-year deal to be their HC, per source.

He's from that area so he probably picked location over the team situation. Whiz did that too. Hasn't worked out for him so far. He would have been better off in Detroit. Bowles would have been better off in Atlanta.

I just don't understand why does all the coaches and players leave from OUR team?? Why him?? The same thing happened after our superbowl run too.

But no one leaves Seattle. They have their ENTIRE defensive core locked up for years.... when was the last time you heard a big name, in coaching or player leaving Seattle?? Ill WAIT. Those players stay because they WANT to win. It seems like we have uncanny knack of drafting problem-players or underwelming players that bites us in the ass. And he wants to take Caldwell too?! UGH.

Gus Bradley was their DC and left to coach the Jags. Quinn, their current DC, could still get hired this year as well.

When did Atlanta offer Bowles a contract that he turned down? IMO any other team that wanted Bowles should have stepped up, like the Jets. Don't blame Todd...
