I always wanted to see this show, but never did. I bought season one on DVD and liked it, so I went to Target and got seasons 2 and 3. I'm halfway through season two and this show just keeps getting better and better. I can't stop watching it. I can't wait to see seasons 3-4.

I just watched all of season two between Friday night and last night. I don't think I have ever been this hooked into a TV show. It's so good. The last four episodes of season two were so good. I love the continual buildup in this show. It accelerates at a steady pace which only adds to it's believability. I can't wait to get season 3 done this week. I'm going to find season 4 today I don't care how much it cost!

Fully anticipating Walt going full monty bad ass now. Skylar was on a track to go down the black hole of moral ambiguity, too. Wonder if they take RJ with them.

If this were some ordinary TV show, we'd next see Jesse in glasses, argyle sweater, and penny loafers, headed to community college. That's not going to happen, but I think they have to slowly develop his heroism now.

I agree Walt dies at the end. I question if that's how he will die. He simply cannot be allowed to die without paying for his crimes, or at least die without them being exposed. I don't think Hank has the gumption to do it. He loves Walt. It would be somewhat poetic if RJ did it, but it's hard to tell where RJ's moral center will end up.

One thing that occurred to me is what interesting twist it would be if RJ, Walt's REAL son, found out how much Walt has done for Jesse, and moved towards total blackness in morality because of it. I imagine RJ would blame Jesse for all the crap his father's done -- and Walt become such a narcissist he'd probably agree.

death for Walt seems like it lets him get off too easy. i want something like Walt's son to get hooked on meth and OD... with Jesse somehow watching and powerless to help him. that's the type of ending Walt deserves.

it will probably be NOTHING like that, but whatever it is, I bet none of us seei it coming.

I can see that. I can see RJ blaming himself for his dad's desperate attempt to provide for him. I can see RJ getting tossed around in all kinds of different directions as he discovers what's been going on all this time. RJ is the most interesting character on the show for me this season.

So far I'm midway through season 3 and this show is fantastic. Here are my thoughts on how this could play out:

First I think Jesse is the only one who makes it through this unscathed. You can clearly see the point where Walt goes "all in" on being bad. This happens in the third season in the episode of "Mas" where he decides to sign the divorce papers and cook again. Once Walt makes those two decisions there is no turning back for him.

This show leaves clues all over the place and I think Jesse will end up killing someone in Walts family (Hank and or Skyler) and then cut a deal with prosecution and turn Walt in where he dies in prison. A few things makes me think this:

In season three Jesse tells Walt he needs to accept the person he is. When Walt asks Jesse who Jesse is, Jesse replies the "bad guy" and accepts himself as such.

Jesse initially turned Walt down to be partners saying he lost everything and everybody because of Walt. I wonder if he's going to give Walt a taste of his own medicine.

Lastly Jesse threatened to turn Walt in to cut a deal if he got cooking on his own. I realise I have a long way to go with this show, but I think that's how it will shake out. This show is so awesome though and the charector development is crazy good. Just like the characters though, it's fun to watch the show tranforming into a really great TV show into something much bigger. I wonder if this show would be what it is if it were on network TV?

this show wouldn't exist on network TV. Here's how that pitch session would have gone down:

Vince: "It's about a science teacher turned meth--"
Any Network Suit: "Thank you for your time. The girl outside will validate."

That's fun to think about. Even more fun to think about if they accepted it.

Network Suit: "That's interesting ... how about instead of a science teacher, he's an ex-football player. And instead of a meth dealer, he's a stay-at-home dad trying to raise his mildly abrasive, totally annoying teenage son who's in a punk rock band that sounds just like Nickelback.

I think I have Tim Allen's phone number around here some place ..."

This is the exact thought process that my wife has, and it has prevented me from watching an episode until this morning. Just watched the pilot.

I'm hooked.

Thx!

The title of episode 2 cracks me up already; "The Cat's in the Bag". During my last biology lab we dissected cats, and my lab partner would always say "Time to let the cat out of the bag." when we started that day's lab.

I might miss it because of the stupid battle between dish and amc. :|

I can't guarantee it, but some Dish customers have called in and complained about missing the AMC shows and received a free Roku box so that they could stream the series when it starts. See DBSTalk.com for more info.

Wife and I just got caught up on this in about 1 month. What a great show.

The first person you talk with has no clue what you are talking about so just keep complaining until they transfer you.
They are sending me a Roku Box and crediting my Dish bill for the purchase of the full Breaking Bad season.
