The bad sign for Keim.

Mike McCoy was the same coach in Arizona that he has been his whole career.

Sam Bradford (outside of a little throw inaccuracy) was the same QB in Arizona that he has been his whole career.

Justin Pugh, nicked up prior to joining Arizona, and now nicked up with Arizona.

Robert Nkemdiche, inconsistent in college and inconsistent in the pros.

Deone Bucannon, not a LB in college, and not a LB in the NFL.

Haason Reddick, not a LB in college, and not a LB in the NFL.

###

Keim may be swinging like hell, but he probably should just stop making the same mistakes over and over.
But that’s how a drunk fights, wildly swinging and lashing out without any real sense of strategy or purpose.

I know everyone jokes about the fan base being an armchair QB and don't really have any insight into the inner workings of the team but I really think many on this board would do a better job of running this team than some of the FO people we have had over the years. I don't know if it's ego or politics in house but we seem to recognize deficiencies or issues with this team long before the FO. Why Mike McCoy even got another shot after his previous failures is a joke. Most of us could tell after 1 or 2 games that he was unfit, especially with his ridiculous usage of David Johnson. Same goes with the roster holes. How many years have we been clamoring for WR help, OL, LB, #2 CB, etc... Yet the FO seems to disregard and think they are fine. It's really frustrating.

Don't you dare tell Ron Jaworski that.

In McCoy's defense, he is using DJ just like he used Melvin Gordon. McCoy is who he has always been, we were just the idiots who hired him expecting something different.
You mean McCoy gets credit for designing that slow-developing run off left tackle featuring the slow hand-off deep in the backfield?

And then when the play consistently loses 2 yards, make it the only running play in our playbook so that our running attack is doomed to fail?

That guy?

Defense isn't credit. McCoy is who he is. He's terrible but he didn't portray himself as something he wasn't or promise something that he couldn't do.

The big question is who pulled the trigger or kicked the hanging horse in the sack. Decision by committee? Bidwill? Keim? My guess.... we will never know the process. Transparency would give a clue to the future of this shipwreck.

"Wilks on firing McCoy: "It was my decision."

At gunpoint? or did he just deliver the note?

Best case scenario: offense improves, Rosen/DJ/Kirk get some valuable experience playing together this year; defense stinks it up, we continue to lose games, get the #1 pick, Wilks and rest of staff gone at end of season, we switch back to 3-4

Worst case scenario: last night?

Exactly. I was just about to post the exact same thing. Good riddance McCoy

And you know this how exactly? So in his interview he said " im going to suck just like my last two jobs." He had to have given them some reason to believe he would be better here.

Why was Wilks not asked these questions? All the reporters asked was soft ball chummy bubble guppie questions.

-Have you lost the locker room?
-What were the reasons your team was totally unprepared for a home game
- Will you be taking over defensive play calling duties,
-Why was Rudy Ford playing so many snaps

That's almost exactly how I thought of it.

"It was my decision" roughly equates to, "Hey if someone has to go into the volcano to appease the angry football gods then I'd prefer it be him not me."

A real leader would of fallen on his own sword and just said if he goes, we all go, and left it at that because if you don't have your guys backs it makes it real hard to get more guys to work for you.

I understand self interest real well, and hey it's hard to be thought of as a loser, and losing your job now means you aint getting another shot for a good long while but this exact scenario is why good people who have other options rarely if ever chose our team to come to.

This is a cluster *(()

Just another stupid comment by Wilks. This isn't the Lombardi era.

In his defense he was asked if he was going to steamline the playbook, he didn't just come up with it on his own. He is full of stupid comments for sure but this one wasn't his fault.
