FTFYBut it's the intangibles. He has SH*it*
would have probably won the game.. throws it 100 mph and behind the receiver...
Wolfy was saying the the ball was tipped which might have slightly impacted the accuracy don't you think ?

it probably knocked it more on line...if it hadn't been tipped, it would have hit Breaston in the shins...
i gotta agree,i don't know what kind of career he has after this or if he ever touche's the field in houston but it seemed like despite what the staff said his fate was sealed even before our first preseason game, i don't know if this came from coaching the front office or (god i hope not) ownership! There is no way that Leinart was this bad, no effing way.

No excuse just stating a fact is all, he did plenty of dumb things to rag on hiom for but this wasn't one of them
Breaston should catch the ball, Shane, but DA absolutely MUST throw a better ball. If that was a one time kind of thing, I'd put it on Breaston for sure, but this is DA. It is what he does. He's Mr. Behind the Reciever. Sometimes Mr. High and Away.
He sucks out loud...I could hear him sucking from my seats. The sound of it made my ears bleed.

It wasn't a good throw. That is true. but it was a completely catch able ball its as simple as that. In that situation Breaston still needs to make the catch. the are both culpable in that play.
I have been saying this to myself all year. Last year, the WR's were making circus catches every game (all of Warners throws were not perfect). This year they seem to be dropping those balls. I don't know what it is but the guys last year seemed to have alot more focus on catching those tough passes.
Who's this Derek Anderson you are talking about. I know of a Scud Anderson at QB for the Cardinals
Never said he shouldn't throw the ball better. But they were both equally culpable on that play. It wasnt so far behind him to make it uncatchable. Not even close.
Scud is dangerous, man.
Yes, it was a "catchable" ball. But, should it have been easier to throw to the front side of an open WR on a slant or to catch a ball thrown behind and slightly low while running in the opposite direction?
This one's on Scud.
Barley catchable, as in barely.
Anything that hits your hands is in theory catchable, but it's tough to reach back while running the other way.
