It's a message board Eric. You don't like me, fine. You don't have to respond. But I'm going to call you on things whether you like it or not.
But you "call me" on things, I explain my reasoning, and you reject it out of hand on the grounds that I sometimes disagree with the front office. It's a waste of time. We all know that the conversation will go like this:
Me: I think that the team has made a mistake.
You: Why?
Me: For the following reasons.
You: That's just negative thinking.
Me: Sometimes it is correct to identify mistakes.
You: Yeah, that's what you always say.
Do we gain anything from this? I admit that I keep falling for it, but that's a weakness of mine I'd like to try to overcome.
If you want to take your ball and go home, go right ahead. I figured we've both been around long enough to not let petty stuff like this end up with one or both of us crying and insulting.
If it were possible to engage you on the evidence, that would be one thing, but it isn't, so the hell with it. "Call me" on whatever you like. I will do my best not to take the bait.
