There was this show in the 90's who's main character was this corporate guy that was ruthless. He was taking over this huge company one step at a time but this guy had a real dark side. He slept in a refrigerator box in his million dollar condo.

This show was awesome but got pulled by the network after about 6 episodes. I always thought it was just too wild for network tv. The guy had this weird sexual relationship with his mother.....

Anybody?

You ever catch the vampire show was on for one season Kindred: The Embraced? By far the best vampire series I have EVER seen makes buffy and angel look ridiculous.

I don't know if I would necessarily call it brilliant but I really liked the show "Miracles" (starring Skeet Ulrich) that was on ABC about three years ago. It only lasted six episodes out of a 13 episode order. It was kind of like X-Files/Millennium but had a stronger religious good/evil mythology component. It is out on DVD.

A decent (certainly not "brilliant") good/evil show was Point Pleasant. It only made it through 3/4 of its first season, though.

Anyone remember Brimstone? About the back from the dead cop who is working for the devil trying to hunt down the souls of murderers who escaped Hell and are now on earth?

I really liked that show. Didn't last long though.

What about Wiseguy? I loved that show in reruns but I don't know how long it ran. Wasn't Kevin Spacey on it?

ad, of course, but andy richter never got the love. that show was so gd funny.

I think I am going to hunt down the torrents. It isnt available on DVD.

I didnt realize that there were 19 episodes (only 14 aired). This show was a mid-season replacement, not once, but twice (March and April 2002 and the rating-rich period holiday period of Dec 2002 and Jan 2003).

I loved Space: Above and Beyond. It was one of the first sci-fi shows that didn't exactly paint the future as all rosey. Firefly is the one that kills me though. It was like a dagger.

Wow, I almost forgot about Kindred the Embraced. I actually liked that show. It was a little sappy but it sort of touched on the mythos about different lines of vampires which explained all the different types of stories. I thought that was cool. You can't compare it to Buffy though. Kindred was more of a soap opera where Buffy was more of an action show.

The State http://www.the-state.com/

It was on MTV and some of the people are now on Reno 911. I don't think I could have made it through college without the state...oh wait I didn't make it through college. Anyway an awesome show that was way to short lived.
