I can't even imagine Carson Palmer doing anything like that. Think about it - does CP ever run for a 3 yard first down in the first quarter when down 7-0 and jump up and pose like Superman for the cameras? Newton is a 100% self important entitled douche. This year he became a good player too, which means we have to suffer this idiot every week. I hope beyond hope we wipe that smile off his face next week.

Their fanbase is talking about last years playoff game. Fools. This year we're not starting our 4th string QB for the game.

Carson was fined for thrusting his body at the stands. So, to answer your question, I could see him doing it.

Cam is having fun playing a child's game. Good for him and I wish I could do the same.

Looked to me that someone handed Cam the flag, who then threw it away. No way did he TRASH the flag.

This and who gives a rip about Seattle...a douhe fan handed him th flag... Man the stuff gets mad about with black QBs is asinine.

The whole 12th man thing is complete BS in the first place. They blatantly ripped off Texas A&M with that idea.

Seattle now has my least favorite of all fan bases. I wish he would've taken it and went to the bathroom and used it as toilet paper. And THEN return it to the fan. Option two, he could've taken a leak on it.

Okay so here is where I tell you he has done this multiple times this year. He goes into the stands and takes some opposing fans sign / flag and throws it.

I looked up the Panthers sign policy and they encourage you to bring signs with nothing stating "Panthers signs"

So if some Cardinals fan is in the front row and has a "Go Cards" sign, Cam Newton believes it is his right to take it from you.

Just because it is a 12 man flag and we don't like them doesn't mean that he should be able to do it. No other QB is running around taking people's stuff.

What right do these Seattle clowns have to come in to opposing stadiums and act like they own the place? You know, like the kid who showed up at our game in a lynch jersey this weekend and started a fight?

Cam is what he is, but good for him for shutting someone down for disrespecting his home field.

Carolina's sign policy encourages you to bring signs and banners to the stadium in support of your team.

Not the first time he did it. He trashed a GB fan's sign earlier this season. On one hand if you're an opposing fan and you bring a sign into the stadium, that's on you. On the other, no player has a right to snatch it and tear it up. Mock it, yes but destroy it, no.

Precisely. He did it a few times before too.

You want to interact with the fans, that is fine. You don't get to take what is legally theirs.

However, if you think this behavior is fine then I encourage you to test that theory. Walk up and take something from someone else because you don't like that thing and throw it.

Agreed sure seems like he's having a lot of fun out there.

Stuff like this makes me laugh. The whole "class" thing this board goes on about it is funny to me

Cam's been doing this all season at home. There was the fan sign (GB I guess?), the Winston jersey he snatched and tossed on the ground (tumbled as he did it too) and this flag. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if fans put those things out there on purpose while he's doing his victory lap celebration with the home fans. I have no problems with it.

Calais Campbell did the exact same thing IN Seattle a couple years back... And it was fricken awesome!! I loved it then and love Cam doing it now.

Fans come to the game and try to taunt players thinking they can say and do whatever they want with no consequences. That is the real issue.

I loved his dance against the Titans. If we shut him down we'll shut him up. GBR!

He ripped our banner down too. I heard he trashed a Buccaneers banner as well.

I think you should bring a sign and when cam comes to grab it you smack him silly. He's technically assaulting you if he tries to take your property by force and you're allowed to defend yourself. Of course, you'll likely get pummeled by the rest of the fans.

That said, I have no problem with cam doing this. He's protecting his house. It's like game 7 of the Dbacks Yankees World Series. Cheese and I were walking into the stadium. We saw some obnoxious Yankees fans behind which we sat during game two. Cheese asked to see their sign. They handed it to him. He calmly tore it in half. Everyone (including me) was stunned into inaction. I think he said "have a good time losing" and we walked away. It was FREAKING AWESOME.

Youre friend is a jag for doing that to someone else. What gives you the right to destroy someone elses property and enjoyment if they are within the rules? Good way to get your ass beat up if you ask me.

Hey Seattle. It's not the American flag, it's not sacred. It's not even your freaking concept! Nobody gives a crap about this but your spoiled, whiney fanbase.

Go away now, some of us still have work to do this season.

You da man, Bert. You da man.

He's my brother. These were dudes we jawed with for four hours at the previous game. It was ballsy, but they took it well. He could have well gotten into a fight and I told him that it wasn't smart afterwards. But it was still awesome. You're a jag just because this is the internet and I want to call you names. Great job buddy! Hope the rest of your life is as fun as you are on here . . . yeesh.

When I'm at an opposing stadium I lay low. I don't get some people. Some clown was yelling go Pac go the whole freaking game. Some Cardinals fan started in on him. At the end he and his buddies started a go the f home chant. I don't feel sorry for opposing fans that add unnecessary junk in a opposing teams house. Cheer for your team at the right moments. Have a sign that's not trash talk or get what you get.

By the way I saw a packer fan grab a cardinals fans sign and take off with it before the game. I don't get that junk.
