I loved my old Motorola StarTac and when it died from too many swims in the dog's water bowl, I went on e-bay and got a minimally used one quite inexpensively.
Both my old one and the 'new' one are AllTel phones, but Alltel says the phone is so old they won't support it and can't give instructions on programming my existing number into the new, working phone. A-holes! IF I can figure how to program it, they can deal with me and all the necessary info on their end so it will work, or so they promise for now.
Anyone?
