I'm just going to go by the fact that overwhelmingly throughout Palmer's career, he's played much worse in pressure situations.
If that makes you feel better sure but in that case what are you going to do for the next two or three years?
Wouldn't it be better to assume it was his finger given you're trapped with him?
I think if you can't do what you know you need to do to win a game and have to play that game that's about as bad as it gets.
I think he showed incredible courage not to lash out and say he was hurt and just take it like a man.
I doubt most of us would be that courageous. Honestly I like him more now.
I've said all along that he's too old and too injury prone to be behind this line and for us to expect him to stay healthy enough to do what he needs to do to win us games.
This whole idea of BA is great but if the QB isn't at peak performance none of it will work.
That kind of system is very fragile.
To top that off our line is no where near good enough for that strategy to have high odds of paying off.
Think of all the times he gets hit hard, each one of those adds up, to a young QB who's a little more durable ok but to a guy his age?
To win we need to get into the playoffs very healthy and stay that way. Especially at key positions.
Palmer is what he is but I think that if the situation was more a case of just playing ball then he'd do fine, once hurt there's nothing you can do about that.
