That would be one hell of a party. Hopefully time will heal fresh wounds and you'll be back having good memories at the stadium. Heck, I'm sure I'll do something to piss off the fiancee at some point this year, so you can go with her. Our section will totally have your back!!

I have some good memories with the toaster, but I aint gonna buy ****, aint even gonna go there anymore unless one of yall sport me a ticket,...and you'd still have to buy me a beer.

I've stood up for the defense every game I have ever gone to, folks that know me know me. Never ever had a problem before, but since the Eagles fans can text my way out...I aint going back. Even if I don't have a leg to stand on I would still like to file a complaint, I can't even find a phone number though. I guess they only give them to Philly fans.

I've stood up for the defense every game I have ever gone to, folks that know me know me. Never ever had a problem before, but since the Eagles fans can text my way out...I aint going back. Even if I don't have a leg to stand on I would still like to file a complaint, I can't even find a phone number though. I guess they only give them to Philly fans.

Got a very nice Lady on the phone and she wrote down all my bitching, I still can't believe we are 3-0 and I'm complaining and fighting the power. I might breakdown and go back if we make the play offs, this timing just sucks. Oh well, I'm done now, 3-0, party on Garth.

Sorry to hear about this ****, the security people really need to get it together. I sit in the club section, and especially early on, it was frustrating because the people there were only there because it was the place to be seen on Sundays. Of course, there's plenty of scalped tickets and people who don't even show up in Cardinals colors that want to sit and silently watch the game.
If I had a buck for every time I've been asked to sit down or be quieter, I'd be able to pay for my tickets year to year. Luckily I've built a rapport with the supervisors in the section, and I'm respectful enough for them to say "he's here every game, and I've never seen you."
Best of luck getting something done about this. We as fans really can't let this happen.

I try to start every game by cracking jokes with security. It keeps me in their mind.
DD, nobody ever claimed it was easy to be a Cardinals fan...seriously, not one person has EVER said that. Its a constant struggle for respect even in our own house. Don't let some sorry eagles fan turn you out. You got to keep on fighting and know that your are not alone. Cardinals Nation may not be the biggest but we are by far the toughest and the best. I would hate to lose you over something like this.

Really? He said himself that he stands up the entire time our defense is on the field. Am I the only one here that would hate to sit behind DDawg? Personally, I hate it when people stand up non-stop. I'm all for supporting your team and getting to your feet at crucial moments but there are other people in the stadium. If you and all your friends are standing, the short people behind you just paid good money to check out your butts.

The more I've thought about it, the more I agree that this is probably a realistic expectation, however:
1. The people behind you should ask you nicely to not stand the entire time first -- it doesn't sound like this was the case based on DD's account. If the people behind you are going to be jerks about it, why sit down just to placate them?
2. Stadium security should definitely give you a warning first before kicking you out for "excessive standing" -- not sure if this happened based on DD's account.
You're not the only one. I personally think it's pretty selfish--no regard for others whatsoever--even though they paid the same amount for their tickets and merely want to watch the game. He probably wears a huge cowboy hat while he's standing too.
That being said, I think as a society we're all turning into a bunch of panty-twisters and ninnies.

You should be on your feet and screaming the entire time the team is on defense. If the crowd maintained the intensity we have in the final 7 minutes of the 4th quarter every single game, we'd be the loudest and hardest stadium to win in.
In my opinion, you come to the game to support the team and influence the outcome. You become part of the game. If you're just showing up just to sit and watch, you'd honestly probably have a better time watching at home.
(I know that was kind of harsh - I'm not calling out your fandom at all. It's just a different approach for different people. But if it were up to me, we'd never, ever let up.)
