I seriously would not call us a bad team next year, not at all. Guess you have not watched the defense and feel we will not make any more improvements.

Seriously. I think Bodha lost interest in this year as soon as we started winning games. Ruined his dreams of a top draft pick. :D

This means I'm taking my 1st trip to Lambeau, regardless of the expense a ticket costs!!! I've always wanted to go...nows my chance & hopefully not under brutal freezing conditions.

PM next year when the after the schedule come out. I have a friend (I know hard to believe) who is a bit of a ticket broker and he can usually get me tickets for close to face value.

Greenbay is the only team that I think is a guaranteed L next year. At least where everybody is today. Pats have Brady, sure, but no defense. Jets are way overrated. Hell, the 49ers are the 2nd toughest team we face IMO

There will be a blackout if only Chicago comes here. If the Pats were to come you could do that thing where you have to buy Rams tickets to get tix to the Bears/Pats game.

GB,...NE,...and Jets away......damn...that is brutal.

Last Jets/Cards game I went to was u-g-l-y. We got a 56 spot put on us and Q got pasted by a dirty hit. Of course the Pats game later that season wasn't any prettier. In those 2 games we were outscored 103-42.

Apparently you've never been to a Diamondbacks game when the Cubs come to town.

You forget the NE game in the snow in December in 2008?

Not at all. That game was the first snow game the Cardinals played in since the franchise moved to Arizona. This includes the time we were in the NFC East and were guaranteed road games in Philly, New York, and D.C. every season.

That is just one instance. The Cardinals haven't been victims of bad weather too often, just substandard performance.

Besides, everyone knows the Cards quit playing once they got to 7-3 and had a huge Division lead and lost to NYG after giving an all out effort in that game.

The Cards had locked up the Division two weeks before going to NE.

Yep. I made note of our post clinching lull in my Cards-49ers analysis when I indicated that there might be some apathy by the 9ers in this game. Even though they are playing for seeding, we were doing the same in 2008 and decided the #4 seed was sufficient. While it proved true, I was put off when the team stopped trying until Week 17 against the Seahawks.

So was I but it was tempered by the fact that the team hadn't even had a winning season since 1998.

Of course you remember Dockett's famous reply to CKW when Whisenhunt told DD to act like he'd been there before: "but coach, I've never been there before."

I'm saying the Bears are the only game that will guarantee fans to buy tix to other games to attend that Chicago game.

ie the Cowboys and Steelers this year...

I do know that when we used to play at SDS, we hardly ever played Week 1 at home because of the heat and being outdoors. Many times, our first home game wasn't until Week 3.

That used to drive me nuts that the NFL wouldn't send a team here until week 3 or 4, but had no prob sending the cards to a cold climate in Dec.. GB, NYG, Philly, etc..
