Ive looked several times and have seen no mention on the board yet, which is suprising. Been up on Cards.com all day

HOME GAMES
  • Chicago Bears
  • Detroit Lions
  • Buffalo Bills
  • Miami Dolphins
  • San Francisco 49ers
  • St. Louis Rams
  • Seattle Seahawks
  • NFC East match (wherever place the Cards finish vs. same place in East. As of today, it’s the Philadelphia Eagles)
AWAY GAMES
  • Green Bay Packers
  • Minnesota Vikings
  • New England Patriots
  • New York Jets
  • San Francisco 49ers
  • St. Louis Rams
  • Seattle Seahawks
  • NFC South match (as of today, it’s the Carolina Panthers).
Picking in the Lotto's never gets old..That is a brutal schedule, my goodness.

Eternally .500 or below. Takes a HOFr just to get us to 10 wins once in a half century.

It's a tough road schedule but the home sched doesn't look that bad. I may be targeting the Jets, Minny, or at SF games as ones I'd like to see.

if you get 8 at home, we are good. just 2 wins on the road will do it. Looks like 2008 to me

NFL mucked up the rotation this year and it seems to be continuing. That is why we got the Steelers at home again and Baltimore away this year.

Joy - Packers, Jets and NE on the road. Probably all in December.

It was already known that the NFC West plays the AFC East, NFC North and one team from each the NFC South and NFC East based on equivalent standing in their respective division in 2012. That's how the rotation works.

The only way this would've changed would be if the league implemented an 18 game schedule like it has talked about for a while now.

Pitfall: Green Bay and New England. Yikes.

Nah. Three road games in December won't happen. The NFL has been pretty kind to us the past few seasons as far as November/December scheduling goes. We've either had the same amount of road and home games or more home games toward the end of the season.

This season is just too friendly in that respect: four of our last five at home.

Depending on the time of year, 5 of our away games could potentially have weather (snow or rain) as a major factor. Yuck. Better hope we travel heavy to start the year again.

LOL, that NFC East game will end up being the Cowboys. We'll end up 2nd in the NFC West, and Giants will overtake Cowboys for 1st in the NFC East.

Next year, Pokes travel here to play, AGAIN.

The key to evaluating schedules is to isolate the 4 or so games that aren't vs. common opponents within your division - and compare them with those of the Niners, Rams and Seahawks.

This is the 2012 opponents list, not the 2012 schedule, which won't come out until the eve of the draft.

Should that happen, expect that game to be on Sunday Night or Monday night if the Cards can rally back to 8-8. This week's MNF game is Rams at Seahawks.

The NFL hates ESPN. If you don't believe me, check out the excellent book Those Guys Have All the Fun.

There are only 2 games in each division that aren't common opponents--same ranking within the NFC East and NFC South.

This means I'm taking my 1st trip to Lambeau, regardless of the expense a ticket costs!!! I've always wanted to go...nows my chance & hopefully not under brutal freezing conditions.

I guess the wild card won't be coming from the West again.

Isn't that because of the weather? More cold climate games in Sept? More warm climate games in Dec?

I'm not sure, but I don't think that's the case.

I do know that when we used to play at SDS, we hardly ever played Week 1 at home because of the heat and being outdoors. Many times, our first home game wasn't until Week 3.

I don't see what's so bd about playing the jets on the road? They are a average team at best.
