Perhaps there are some question marks and his trade status popped up. Maybe a word with Kyler on his old teammate and a nod from Kugler.

Worth a 5th rounder. I think a 4th would have felt too steep. Bills fan's excited though, but sometimes all it takes is a fresh start.

Kyler has streamed with Cody before, they seem like really good friends. Hopefully he shows something this year.

it was because Kyler went 1-5 and 18 yards passing, 3 rushes for 8 yards, two sacks in his first three drives accounting for 3 plays, 5 plays and 5 plays. Two punts and one turnover on downs.
Like I said the first time, the OU offense started slow because they were missing their #1 WR. If the the OU defense did anything, then this would have been a winnable game. I’m a huge Alabama fan & came away extremely impressed with how Murray figured out an extremely good Bama defense. It was how Murray retaliated in this game that sold me on why the Cardinals should draft him #1.

I'm skeptical you can lose a bunch of weight and then put it back on that quickly without some issues.

He said he got to 265, his playing weight is 310, that's 45 pounds. He was quoted as saying he needed to get to at least 285 to be playable, any less he'd be too small. So if he's back to 310 that's pretty extreme 45 off 45 on that fast.
In his most recent interviews, he said his ideal playing weight is 285-290, which is where he’s at now. I have never heard him say 310.

Why? Puzzling move imo
I don’t think he’s an upgrade over the guys expected to make our roster.

he was listed at 310 last year so when you said he was back to his weight I assumed you meant that weight. 285=290 yeah that's much less concerning

I've been thinking on this and the only thing that makes sense is they think he's been messed about at G and want to move him back to T.

There seems to be an issue with Murray. He's still not fit and looks like they lost faith in his health. He was swing G/T.

Miles hasn't improved and looks like he's getting cut. That leaves only Josh Jones as depth.

Still a straight 5th is overpaying. It should be a 6th with condition 5th if we extend him.

Although I'm hoping it's the projected 5th round comp.

Last 10 Cardinals 5th round picks:

Deionte Thompson DB Alabama
Will Holden OL Vandy
Marqui Christian DB Southwest TX St.
Cole Toner OL Harvard
Shaquille Riddick DL WVU
J.J. Nelson WR UAB
Ed Stinson DL Alabama
Stephan Taylor RB Stanford
Senio Kelemente OL Washington
Anthony Sherman FB UConn

May be cost controlled, but also might not make the team out of training camp.
You’re forgetting Jalen Thompson.

He said that he played at 290 last season.
