2 biggest coaching decisions today...

1) McVay not letting Henderson take 2 cracks to gain 1 yard for a TD.

2) On the ensuing Cards drive, Kliff calling TO to not have to rush the 3rd down play, which became the 54 yard Edmonds run that was the real breaker for the Rams.

In years past, you would probably swap McVay and Kliff in those 2 scenarios.
KK outcoached McVay. People can say what they want, but KK had McVay and Stafford rattled and off balance all game.

Hell, just look at the body language on the sidelines, McVay is totally rattled and KK is striding the sidelines like a champion.

Like he knew it.

That TE screen to Maxx is a McVay play. Loved seeing a few wrinkles that the Rams use.

Today was a huge step. Near perfect game, on the road, vs a division rival who has owned us. Very impressive performance. Especially since Garcia and Jones were inconsistent on the right side.
The 99 yard drive to run clock and seal the game was championship stuff Chopper.

Agree it was a step, but it's impressive.

It's not stuff we've seen in a long time.

If A back up guard and my starting guard playing RT played like that against the best defensive front in football is inconsistent I’ll take it.

By the 4th our offensive line was flat out bullying the Rams front

I think the drive before the half was bigger. The Rams didn’t get to touch the ball the last 3 plus minutes of the half and then another 5 minutes to start the third all the while adding points.

Marco had a rough game but love his aggressiveness and ability to tackle
It was a shame he didn't get that intercept either after the BS call against Simmons

Pleasing thing about Marco was that it looked like he was being targeted early and struggled but adjusted and fought back. Quick learner
