Yeah that’s all fine… except teams aren’t even having to blitz to eat this line alive and doesn’t have time for poo to develop and our idiot OC doesn’t seem to put in hot read or our guys just suck at getting open quick….
I’m only calling out Kyler’s failures to burn the blitzes.

Burning the blitz shouldn’t take time to develop. It’s literally knowing which receiver should be open based on where the blitz comes from. It’s a very cerebral skill. Kyler doesn’t possess this ability.

Cardinals defense has been carrying this team for most of the season. Our problems lie elsewhere.
Truth. And that is a REALLY bad thing. We can EASILY improve our defense, but this offense was SUPPOSED to be good, to be the strength. Yet they have been the weakest part of the team. Kyler has sucked. MHJ hasn't been THE GUY he was supposed to, and Uncle Fester has been the worst playcaller in the league. MHJ should take a leap. Kyler is locked in for next year. Drew Petzing needs to go, because something needs to change. Draft won't make this offense better, but it WILL make the defense better.

I agree but the receivers have to recognize the blitz and who is the hot receiver.
There should NEVER be 5 wr’s running straight down the field.

When a defense brings too many to block it means a receiver should be open. A good QB identifies where the blitz comes from, knows which receivers route that should open abd gets the ball out fast. That’s what good QBs do against the blitz. They aren’t always successful, but again they are often enough so that teams don’t blitz 100% of the time. Unless you’re playing the cardinals. Because Kyler can’t do it.
For the record it also requires the WR’s to make the same read and adjust their routes if needed. Not saying Kyler is blameless but what you’re referring to often takes two to tango.
