Frank Kaminsky is my Hero.
One other thing about Kolb that bothers me is that this is his 5th year in the NFL without starting more than 10 games in one season. Has there ever been a QB who was around that long without starting more than 10 games in one season who went on to be a top QB?
Trent Green maybe? But then he started 14 games for the Redskins his 5th season with 23TD passes to 11interceptions. Dan Fouts took a while to get going but he had started 39 games going into his 5th season. Steve Young started 14 games in Tampa his second season. Others?
Seems to me that a QB just can't sit around that long and develop into anything above average. Or it could be that if a QB hasn't been able to take over the reins of a team within 2-3 seasons he'll never really get a chance to do so.
Rich Gannon didn't get his 10th start until his 4th season in the league. And it took him a while to become great.
