Irrelevant comparison, you should know that. I was responding to ajcardfan saying "no way in hell this is a rout" if you think there's "no way in hell" that the cards can win big here, then you must think well never win big.

I don't think they will. Like I said in another thread the team just isn't good enough to win big. Against any team. On the other hand they are good enough to beat just about any team in the NFL.

lol...you know we just beat the 2 win Texans team by three points, at home coming off a bye facing them coming off a 6 game losing streak, without their starting QB, RB and HC...right?

And we beat Carolina by 15, who beat SF by 1 who we lost to by 12. :D

I don't know if I would say rout or win big, but the Cards SHOULD win comfortably and not have to sweat it out and the 4th quarter.

My evidence: After 10 weeks, Tom Jackson finally picked the Cards in the ESPN "Expert" Picks. If Tom can't pull the trigger and find a way to pick against the Cards, then it can't be that close.

Cards 27
Jags 13

Our defense holds the ground game to under 50 yards. Palmer keeps getting it and Fitz has a big day. The Cardinals will win this game and show folks that they can win in the east.

Cards 24-13 win.

All I know is if we win and the Niner lose in NO which would be no shock we are tied with them in the division :)

Only will matter if we can go 3-0 in division the rest of the year

unless SF straight up falls off the radar and keeps losing games

Until this team actually shows it can win big on the road, you're damn skippy I don't think they can win big, especially when you consider their only road W this year was a 3 point squeaker against...you guessed it, a 1 win team.

I don't recall the last time I picked us to win, but here goes:

Cards 17
Jags 6

Mendenhall gets 100 yards rushing, and everyone complains about it. :)

Go Cards!!!

Probably because he fumbles twice and the score is closer than it should have been. :D

Cards 24
Jags 6

Mendenhall carries 25 times for 60 yards. Ellington carries 10 times for 120, thanks to breaking another long run.

Palmer finally goes a game without throwing an INT.

The Defense is relentless and punishing all day long.

So apparently the jags haven't scored a TD at home all year.

New prediction
Cards 31
Jags 13

The TD comes by either the defense on a pick 6 or ST, haven't decided yet.

Exactly. The people predicting blowouts for the Cards are basing it on..... nothing that has actually happened.

Of course, I'd love to be wrong. I hope the Cards win big.

Anyone know the last time the Cards were favored by more than a TD on the road?

Jags 7

The Jags are truly the worst, least talented defense in the league... there is no valid reason for the Cards not to put up 30 or more points on JAX... other than BA's ridiculous man-crush on Mendenhall, combined with Palmer's inability to connect on passes more than 7-8 yards in the air.
By all rights, this should be a 35-7 type game. However, given the above, it will probably end up more like 21-10 Cards, with our defense putting up 7 of those 21 points...

They still aren't. The line is -7.

There isn't one line. Each sports book can set their own but every single one I've checked has the Cards as greater than a 7 point favorite with the lowest being 7.5 and the highest being a 9. Most of the money has come in on the Cards as most casinos opened with the Cards being favored by 6.5 or 7.
