You may be right, but part of Skelton's job is political.From all reports over the past two preseason games, that's what Skelton's done. Nobody is crying out that he's the savior at the position, but he has clearly outperformed Kolb thus far.
He has to be perceived by a majority of fans as getting the job done.
I'm not unhappy (nor am I overwhelmed) by his preseason play, but I think he'll have to do a bit more to win over most fans.
