I don't post in here a lot if at all. I do however read every single day and I have been reading for the last 8 or something years.

Our team has been phenomenal all year. This defense is amazing. They have the best record in the history of the franchise and have done so with so many injuries.

I never thought it was a realistic scenario for us to win tonight. Not against the hottest team in the league and not with Lindley (his record speaks for itself).

But I do like the underdog status we will be carrying after tonight. Stanton will be back for the playoffs and Arians will motivate the team to play their heart out.

Our defense should respond with a lot of heart after tonight's showing. There's no way to go but up with Stanton replacing Lindley.

I have seen a lot of negativity in here today and I think it is sad considering what we have accomplished this year.

I really think we have a great chance of making it to the Super Bowl this year and we need to truly believe in that!

I like all of the points of the OP and agree with it except for the last one. Change the word 'great' to 'slight' and I'm on board with you.

I agree. It sucks they lost tonight but this has been a phenomenal ride and a great season regardless of what happens. I can't wait for the playoffs.

Just came home from the game. I'm not upset as some fans are with Arians or the Cards. I'm a realist and know that you are not going to beat a good team like Seattle with a 3rd string qb. There is an old saying: You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

We are in the playoffs as a wild card and will most likely play at Carolina or Atlanta. We could win that game if Stanton is back. Its been a damn good ride this season and not yet over which is great.

Awesome post, thank you.

I appreciate your kind words. Really its been a great season. We were 7 & 1 at home. As a season ticket holder I have seen some terrific football games. I don't expect us to go to the Super Bowl (too many injuries)but it would be nice to go in and win the first playoff game.

Exactly. Fans need to temper their expectations and adjust them accordingly with all the injuries the Cardinals have. The mere fact that they continue to remain competitive is a testament to the heart of this team. They will come back even better next year and the NFC West looks to get even easier with the turmoil in San Francisco and players in Seattle possibly wanting to get paid more. The Cards are in a good position, but they need to go "all in" during the draft and trade into the top five to get a QB.
