Does anyone who saw Ellington's catch and run believe that CJ would have been chased down from behind and tackled down at the 5 yard line ?? Think about it , that play would have changed Palmers stats from 4 of 4 for 77 yds. to 3 0f 3 for 78 yds. and a TD .
I hate to play devil's advocate here - and I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but am I the only one worried about possible chemistry issues here...?
I'm going to add something I didn't do so in my original post - let's not forget that CJ was involved in a drive-by shooting that left the driver DEAD. As-in, shot in the head DEAD homicide. CJ refused to cooperate with authorities in that case, but no charges were filed. Isn't this some indication of his character and/or the type of entourage he hangs out with?
Yes, I'm all for adding depth in the sake of helping our team win, but what's really going on here? For comparison purposes we have our fair share of idiots - Dwyer, Massie, DWaste, but none of them come close to this type of off-field behavior. Has anyone heard CJ speak? The guy makes Shawn Marion sound like a well-versed poet.
Once again, not hating the move by any means... I trust in BASK but the character-side of CJ really gives me concerns.
I just hope it doesn't take away from David Johnson's development. At this point in their careers, David has to be the Johnson with the higher ceiling!
I think we can close the book on DJ this year. He hasn't put on pads yet.

DJ is an emergency back at this point.I just hope it doesn't take away from David Johnson's development. At this point in their careers, David has to be the Johnson with the higher ceiling!
Uh, he put pads on today for practice.
Good contract. Low risk high reward. I think he's done but will be pleased to be proven wrong.
It helped get DJ on the practice field. I would imagine the cards had more carries planned for DJ initially. His time in the hot tub impacted that.

He didn't practice today... Just ran a little on the sidelines.
BA has said that it's virtually impossible for DJ to add any value in regular season games given how much time he is missing.
CJ will more than like take his reps now. Which should give DJ the time he needs to properly heal and learn...
Bunk... Pure coach speak ...
The person this thread is about whom we just signed hasn't been training hasn't been in the playbook and doesn't know Bruce Arians offense. Yet he somehow is able to contribute and be a factor ?? but our own draft pick possibly couldn't? The guy that still attend all the meetings has his head in the playbook for the last three months and attend a rookie OTA's etc. .... I don't buy it not one bit ...
Woooooooooooooooooooooooaaaah, that is some WILD spin on that story. Chris Johnson was a VICTIM a drive by shooting, he was wounded, the driver was killed. Saying he was "involved" and that "no charges were filed" is like saying Jackie Kennedy was "involved" in a presidential assassination.I'm going to add something I didn't do so in my original post - let's not forget that CJ was involved in a drive-by shooting that left the driver DEAD. So,...any one think "Johnson & Johnson".... will be our "No more tears" backfield??
