I'm worried because the refs always hand the Skins the game when we're in town. We got screwed miserably and should have won both of the last two in washington and the last one in Baltimore.

but...

Is our secondary really any worse than the injury-riddle Giants?

Orakpo and Landry are both gametime decisions which means neither will be anywhere near full strength

Whis' offenses always seem to be very effective against 3-4 defenses

In the end, i think the key to the game are protecting Kolb and Washington being able to play and play effectively

Dude we gonna lose. You are attending the game and you KNOW this seals the deal. We talked about this last year. Should have made the FG bet that you arent allowed to attend. :bang: :mulli:

All that other stuff is irrelevant.

Our secondary gave up over 400 yards to Cam Newton....oh man

Cam Newton didn't scare me. It's good TEs that scare me and Carolina had 2 really good ones.

The Redskins also have two really good TEs. In fact TE Fred Davis went over 100 yards last week. They also still have Cooley who is a quality TE as well.

What's up with Rex Grossman? He had one 300 yard passing day in his first 37 games and now he has 3 in his last 4.

My two sons (Cardsfanmd-Justin) & my 9 yr old will be there on Sunday. That's the good news. The bad news is that our presence has been a curse. We haven't see a Cardinal win LIVE since 1998!!!!:bang:

THE CURSE ENDS SUNDAY!!

Cardinals 27
Skins 24

Btw, we're also going to the Ravens game in Baltimore.:(

Stay away then...Duck said he'll by each of your Tix for $100 because 2-0 might mean Super Bowl :D

Means nothing. The Patriots gave up 400 to Henne. If we are going off of simple logic, is their secondary better or worse than ours?

14 different QBs put up 300+ yards in the air last Sunday, which goes to show for some strange reason defenses (specifically secondaries) were affected most by the lockout and lack of OTAs.

Week 1 was full of anomalies. There were 8 returned kicks/punts for TDs, even with the KO line being moved up 5 yards.

As for the game, 10am start time, east coast trip and Washington playing with a renewed sense of confidence make me feel queasy.

26-24 Skins

It's the Redskins Defense that worries me not their offense. In two trips to DC under CKW the Cards have managed 19 and 17 points. If Orakpo is not 100% that could help but if you look at their defensive starters they're not too shabby.

The Playbook team on the NFL Network split two and two on the result of this game.

I can't predict a loss.

I'm going to say 19-13.

Stop the run and pressure Grossman and we have a very good chance to win this game.

Oh, and no turnovers.

Cards lose in typical Cards-Shanahan fashion.

30-13.

THT runs wild on us, Redskins defense feasts on Kolb. Game is out of reach by the third quarter. SF wins against Dallas, knocking the Cards out of first place.

I live in Japan and the game don't start until 2 in the morning here. So I hope when I wake up to go to PT in the morning the scoreboard says we won.

Skins - 31
Cards - 3

Game is over by halftime and the Cards get a mercy FG in the closing minutes of the game, just to prevent a shutout.

East Coast jinx is alive and well.
