Dang. He got bad fast. I remember his as pretty decent with the Jets (at least not so bad that you noticed as a casual fan).

I wouldn't worry about his accuracy (yet). Kickers are head cases. That's how we ended up with Rackers. Cut Bill, signed Neil, who was cut from the Bengals because of accuracy issues. He's had them here but seems to have overcome them. Especially since he hasn't had to kick a game deciding FG lately.
