i havn't seen a thread on this week game. it is time to start talking football once again. dennis green is still the coach of the arizona cardinals so let us move on.

i don't know if the the cardinals can defeat the packers. hopefully they can bounce back and turn this disaster around. in order to do this it is going to have to get boldin and byrant johnson invole early. if the packers are going to stack the line then they need to go deep. i am sure they can get boldin and johnson going early. the cardinls are going to have to use the spread formation to get james running. james going to have to quit dancing with the stars. their will be plenty of time to do that when he retires. this rearrange offensive line is going to have to get going. i wouldn't be surprise if davis goes back to right tackle to help protect leinart blind side. the defense imo is going to have to win this one for us. farve is good for at least 2 ints as long as the cardinals secondary can acctually int the ball. the cardinals defense has been shutting down opponents running game. i would like to see another performance like the last couple of weeks with the turnovers. i would like to see the cardinals offense to actually score some touchdowns off the turnovers. if the cardinals can do that, they will upset the packers in green bay.

These prediction threads alway bring a smile to my face. When was the last time the Cards scored 35 points? And, if we score 35 points, Rackers only needs to kick five extra points, although at this point, I guess I wouldn't be too suprised if he missed one. Drink on, my friend.

If the Cards can't run the ball while starting a rookie QB they have little chance to beat any team. It's also going to be cold, around 40 degrees and our valley of the sun boys haven't done too well in cold weather over the years.

Of course they haven't done too well in warm weather or indoors either.

Also feel that if the Cards continue to play with the large cushion by their CB's Farve will carve them up.

The Packs' weakness (DB's) against our strength (WR's)

Cards 24, Pack 20

:koolaid: :stick:

i don't think the packers weakness are the DB's - try the O-Line and no offensive weapons to speak of (other than Driver and Favre).

jennings and amad green are a couple of more weapons that the packers have. the packers can score just as easy as the cardinals can. the cardinals defense needs to show up this game.

I agree with the other poster. The Packers' DBs blow. I like our young offensive line though. Colledge had a rough start last week filling in for a sick Clifton at tackle. But that doesn't surprise me since he was playing at guard before that. I think all 3 rookies have improved at the guard spots. They'll go through some growing pains, but as long as they continue to improve, I think they'll become a pretty solid line in a year or two. They've protected Favre pretty well expect for the Bears game and for Colledge's early struggles last week against Jason Taylor.

I agree with you about no weapons though. If Jennings is out, it's Driver and a cloud of dust.

I went to 3 Cardinals games this year. 1 presason, and 2 regular season games, while not making it to any Packer games. Something is wrong ;)

Road woes continue...

It is obvious the players are not going to respond to Denny. The undercurrent says they want Denny gone...

And gone he will be...

I think the Cards are "sleep-walking" through practice this week with absolutely no pep to their step. The Packers will probably look like Super Bowl champs at home and drive another nail into Denny's coffin.

With the Cardinals out of time-outs to stop the clock...Brett Farve drives 'em down the field for a final score to yet again break the hearts of Cardinal fans.

With less than a minute to go...Matt Leinart unbelievably gets the Cards in range to try a field goal for the win. This time Neil Rackers misses again, but from only 32 yards out. Arrrrggggghhh!!!!!! :bang:

You've come to the right place to share your misery BTP. You can't win at home, we can't win on the road. We should play on a neutral field so we both get a tie.

We lose big. Its never even a game. I've become quite convinced that against a bad team like the Packers or the Raiders, especially on the road, we don't even have a chance. If this were a good team, I'd have more confidence that we could show up and at least make a decent game of it. But I'm done ever expecting us to take advantage of bad team. It never happens. The Packers will be thinking they have a shot at the playoffs at the end of the game. Even though they'll still be one of the league's worst teams.
