Thought we could all use a shot in the arm. Man, was that a sweet win or what! I mention this because it's so easy to get caught up in the, "what's next" mentality and glance over what's already been achieved. ...And after suffering for so long I am NOT going to take this winning-thing for granted. Am I disappointed about Sunday's loss?? Sure, but from the "posts" on here I think about 90% of us thought we were going to lose to Carolina anyway. Now, somehow, we feel cheated that we didn't win. We went toe-to-toe with a VERY GOOD team, on the road, and a play here or there, and we'd have come out on top. I see these--same ol' Cards comments. Hello?? Same ol' Cards would've been down by (17) mid-way thru the 3rd quarter. At that point we would've started thinking about next weeks' game and how we needed to win just to get to (3-5) so we could somehow get back in the play-off race. Hey, we're (4-3), in 1st place, and have one of the BEST, IF NOT THE BEST, offenses in the league. All I'm saying, is it helps to keep things in perspective. Less than (2) years into the Whiz'-Grimm era and we're a team to be dealt with. We're NO longer just an after-thought-a "bye" on the other teams' schedule. GO CARDS! One step at a time!

I just received a DVD of the game in the mail today and enjoyed watching the victory again - as at times when being at the games some things get... lost I mean missed...

But after watching the game it still makes me wonder if the NFL or the zebras just have something against us. Besides the non-fumbles... how is it that there is always a camera there and close when Fitz makes a catch that they can review and call out of bounds? And the helmet to helmet on Breaston by Thomas goes without anything...

Anyway it was good to watch again and makes me glad to be a CARDINALS FAN!

I wondered the same thing. It's OK for a LB BUT NOT for a DB?? Doesn't make sense. As for bias by the officials?? It is what it is. The marqee' teams ALWAYS get the calls. Case in point, the Rams on the road last week in New England. Mid-way thru the 4th quarter the Rams had been called for (9) penalties. The Patriots-(0) YUP! I said, ZERO. The Rams' fans said it was blatantly one-sided and the Patriot fans were smirking thru-out the game. The media wants the Cowboys, Patriots, etc. to WIN. Then there'll be talk of dynasties, etc. It's interesting to me that one of the MOST important numbers concerning the Super Bowl is the day after TV-ratings. Its' ALL about the $$$! That being said, the CARDS FINALLY winning would be a nice "Cinderella"-story so we'll see how it plays out.
