Cards Announce Preseason Schedule
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wednesday, April 16, 2003

Tempe, Arizona — The Arizona Cardinals announce the
dates and times of their 2003 preseason games.

The Cardinals open preseason play at 7 p.m. at Sun
Devil Stadium on Saturday, August 9 against the Dallas
Cowboys, a game that will match new Arizona running
back Emmitt Smith against his former team.

The Cards travel to San Diego the next weekend to face
the Chargers at 7 p.m. at Qualcomm Stadium.

Arizona’s final home preseason contest brings the
Chicago Bears to Sun Devil Stadium for a 7:30 p.m.
assignment on Friday, August 22.

The Cardinals close preseason play at the Minnesota
Vikings at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 28.

aj is correct in the fact that the scrimmage has always been on the first Saturday of August. Nothing is official regarding the scimmage though. AUG 2 would be my guess.
