It happens to all QBs sometimes, its not like a QB is going to jump as he throws, and the rushers are tall dudes with long arms too.

If I have Floyd and Fitz wide...... With a single safety. Why wouldn't the clear audible to be pump fake to Fitz and lob to Floyd?

The safety would have to bite right? I would take Floyd over whomever is guarding him at that point.

Doesn't help when your running game nets 38 yards on 15 carries. They aren't helping John at all and most of those yards were on Roberts carry.
