Good quick tempo...everyone's hustling. Good reps.

From what I saw I liked Levi Brown at RT, Steve Baylark at RB and CB Roderick Hood.

Antrel Rolle looks quicker...gotta like that.

All the QBs were throwing the ball well.

I realize we should be greatful for getting any minicamp coverage at all - let alone a feature. But I wanted more. I felt like there was something missing.

I guess we've been spoiled by the way Senior Bowl Week was handled - Mike Mayock and others would give you a pretty good sense of what each drill was supposed to accomplish and what to look for. Although Woodson would provide an overview of each drill, he didn't always follow this up with commentary about how well each rep was executed (& why).

They could have edited everything down better - too much footage of "guys standing around."

Not enough focus on individual Cardinal players. I didn't know who #23 (the dude who picked off the pass) was. They showed that highlight at least three times. I assumed it was Travarous Bain; turned out it was Darrell Hunter.

I was hoping for more commentary breaking down each position-category and highlighting some of the roster-battles. (Kirwin and Ryan covered this in roughly 5-minutes on SIRIUS yesterday).

The interviews with the coaches kind of glossed things over. There was more "meat" from Wiz and Grimm in the Somers, Urban and Cardinal website wrap-up pieces than there was on teevee.

The fan pieces were confined to "I think we're gonna make the playoffs this year" commentary and didn't reflect the level of football knowledge that many Cardinal fans possess.

On the positive side - I loved Q miked-up. The final interview with Matt Leinart was excellent and informative. And some minicamp coverage on the teevee is better than no coverage at all.

But like I said earlier - It's great to see Cardinal players on TV and 60-minutes solely devoted to Cardinal-talk. (It's just that I'm greedy. I want more).

That was "must see tv" at it's finest. Seriously, who else but us Cardinal crackheads would watch willingly and with baited breath I might add, O-linemen going through their sets? My wife even asked me, "what the hell are you watching?" I need more!

It seemed to me that on virtually every play...one of the offensive lineman would block the wrong guy. Grimm seemed to imply this after virtually every play. This was for the drills where the offensive lineman lined up and the backups/reserves were told to shoot a gap (they were acting as the defense)....and usually one guy who was lined up on defense side of ball would get thru untouched.

Maybe that was the problem...

that is why you hold mini camps. If they are still missing assingments when the season starts then you can be worried.

They worked JJ alot. Boyd looked pretty bad. I saw the one OL I think 61(?) a guard miss his assignment. Must not be hitting the books.

Other than that I loved that it was on TV.

I even bothered to look this one up. #61 for the Arizona Cardinals? Offensive Guard Elton Brown. Right now, this fact is incredibly funny to me.

Boyd threw into coverage and got picked. He may know the offense but we are in deep doo-doo if he actually plays in a game that counts.

One impression, Whiz is actively involved and gives feedback on every rep. That is 180 degrees different than Denny. Even saw him walking with Kurt after one series coaching him up.

If you believe the personnel has not been dramatically upgraded, which I do, you have to hope all this coaching can get maximum performance out of some areas of the roster which are incredibly weak, e.g., O-line and CB.

Hard to tell much from these drills, but I did think the D-line looked fairly stout at the point of attack. But that could be that the O-line, excepting Lutui, is the same old, same old.

I wouldn't get too worried about the O-line. They mentioned that they have a brand-new playbook. Not only that, but the rookies hadn't even seen the playbook until the night before.

The show had a lot of fluff. But it was great to see football in May.
