My sister is better than Derek Anderson. That doesn't remove the fact that our offensive line sucks and we have running backs who are as streaky as all get up and tight ends who couldn't catch a cold if they ran naked through a blizzard. Also, comparing Smith to Anderson is not the same as Smith leading this team to a division championship is it. You said that if we had Alex Smith as our QB we'd be the division champs. That, my friend, is lunacy.

Blaming the line and RBs for the inadequacies of the QB is off base. THE reason for the team's failures this year is the QB and the HC plain and simple.

I think krang is right. Smith would have put us over the top in the nfcw; that's less a tip of the hat to smith as it is a slight to the quality of play in the division. Leinart would have had us in the playoffs too.

That 4th down play looked like one early in the season.... Different QB.... Same result. LOL!

Not a big fan of Bartel so far...but I fully expect him to be on the roster for training camp next season.

My cardinals season ends now. I'm turning this off and putting in Psych.

I guess that means I'm totally out.

Do you ever know what you're talking about?

Agreed. This team lacks talent on the offensive line (while the Niners have a very strong front 7) and we're playing with a young QB. Few coaches IMO would be winning this game.

I know I've been saying we need to draft Bowers from Clemson, but I'm starting to think we need to address the offensive line hot and heavy in the draft and free agency.

Biggest thing he has going for him is the fact he went to Tarleton St and Whiz loves guys from schools like that.

Jim Mora is such a tool. He is talking about leaning towards restructuring the playoffs so that a 7-9 team doesn't go to the playoffs. How unfair it is. The ironic thing is that he is basically advocating that a team that HE built should not be able to go to the playoffs. What a hypocrite!

None of the red flags translate in the NFL. And are circumstantial at best in college.

Its more like Pacman Jones territory. 1 time is circumstantialbut repeatedly having problems makes me back away not to mention he's had one very good year in a pseudo-spread offense.

Even still, Whiz is feeling the pressure to win NOW. Newton is a project

I was thinking the same thing. Is there a Joe Thomas type at the top of this class?

John Elway in his prime wouldn't have this team in the playoffs. Face it, we were just bad this year.

Please explain TJ. Was Whiz out coached by an interim D-line coach or not? This is a yes or no. Please explain this blowout loss to the horrific Niners who just canned their HC. Or better yet just type a smart comment with a smiley.
