"Whisenhunt Changed the Culture"!!!

I hate that statement.

Whisenhunt is 32-32 as our Head Coach after this game.

My belief is that Derrick Sherrod of Arkansas is thetackle that can be had on the Cardinal 2nd pick. I like him better than Solder or Carimi. Castonzo is the best left tackle coming out.

Please explain TJ. Was Whiz out coached by an interim D-line coach or not? This is a yes or no. Please explain this blowout loss to the horrific Niners who just canned their HC. Or better yet just type a smart comment with a smiley.

How about just crappy execution by the players? No blindside pass blocking. Poor zone coverage. etc

I just know that you automatically go to Whis Hater mode at any given opportunity. You probably blame him when there is a traffic jam on the freeway during rush hour. It's become rather pathetic.

Sorry, I just disagree...strongly. The team has deficiencies, but so does the division on the whole. Better consistency at the qb position would have given us at least 3 more wins, IMO.

Are you talking strictly this division? Then you're probably right. However, Alex Smith would not have done it.

What I won't do is pretend to know what the year would have been like with Leinart as the QB. Does about as much good as wondering how well we'd have done with Neil Lomax in his prime or Warner for one more year.

It is pretty safe to say that it would have been much better than it was based on Leinart's past production alone. The QB position was a mess and the WORST it has been in the history of the team here in AZ. I am not pro Leinart like a lot of you guys like to paint me but I am anti, VERY ANTI the DECISION to cut him. The timing was a joke and the season was lost the second Whiz made the move. It isn't about "pretending to know" what the outcome would be. It is about making sane moves and putting your best cards forward. I said it then and I will always stick by it. This season didn't have to happen. If you haven't noticed Seattle could win the division with a losing record. PATHETIC how this all transpired.

Amazing. I repeat, we're having a bad season yet Whiz gets completely exonerated by some on these boards but is given all the credit in the world for our successes. Sorry to say that you can't have it both ways.

Nope. The QB situation deflated this whole team I believe. Better QB play would have made a mountain of difference to this whole team......

Amen.

It's not all on Whis.

It's because of the players we lost (leadership), a big performance drop-off in some great players (like AW, DRC), poor play at nearly all positions, lack of a quality OC or DC, etc.

But if it makes you feel better - blame Whis and keep believing how great the year would have been with Leinart.

If any of those guys are available in round 2, the Cards better do a Carl Lewis sprint to the podium to get their name in. Sherrod will probably be the #1 LT when it's all said and done. DeMarcus Love or Tyron Smith may be available but they likely go late round 1 as well.
