I don't know if it hits that level for me. AW seemed done at the time, and it was sad because he probably would have stayed for league minimum. Dockett has the devil barking in his ear.

The business side of the sport gets very ugly at times.
Dockett costs the Cardinals $3 million in dead cap space. If he can't better that in free agency and if the Cardinals don't want the dead money he may be back.

which was a tough move... but the right one.
this organization ain't playing to to tug on heart-strings... it's playing to win now. Don't like seeing him gone, but like that the organization realizes it's close to title contention and nostalgia ain't gonna get them there.

I'm hoping this gives us a little wiggle room to get Dan Williams re-signed. Need two young pieces on that D-line and don't want to have to waste a high draft pick on a spot we know was solid. Unless they're planning on making a big DT spalsh.
