No, I agree, Hicks is bad too. The problem is, Hicks was BETTER than both Collins and Simmons. Again - the leadership decided that Joe Walker was more deserving of snaps than Collins and Simmons.

I thought Collins played well in the snaps he had. It never made sense how he got less as the year went on.

You learn by playing. You don't learn by sitting on the bench. If we have to take some lumps through the first 5 games so they are better in the next 12 then so be it.

Pretty depressing your 2 1st rounders can't beat him out on the field. VJ had no choice. Simmons was better in year 2, but still got lost in space. Collins flashed a couple of plays, but he also got lost. Say what we will about Hicks being slow, etc, but I shudder to think how much more lousy the defense would have been last year without him.
