my first chioce is charlie weis. , but green a pretty good selection also. i'm getting very excited about next season. this off season going to be moving and grooving. i wonder which fa are interested in coming to arizona now. welcome back to the mid 70's when the cardinals were winning divisions. of course, the redskirts had to annouce the hiring of joe gibbs and totally blow the cardinals out of the national spotlight. that is typical of those glory hounds. oh well we have green know. he should bring us to contenders right a way. whoooooo hooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go cardinals.

I think you fairly well sum up what my feelings are too. Green is not my first choice and I'm still hoping some 11th hour event occurs and we still end up wit Fassel.
If it does indeed turn out to be Green....I have no choice..as a Cardinal fan.....I have to accept it. But I will remain very skeptical. His signing would not be a source of joy for me.
Especially until I saw who he would select as staff. I will hold out to the bitter end......hoping.

As a long time cardinal fan I was very pleased with the way the whole head coach search was done. I was for Fassel but I will certainly defer to Michael and Graves in their selection. Way to go Cardinals. Oh, and by the way it is nice not to be referred to as the same old bumbleing Cardinals by national media.

I almost quit my job yesterday because I was too busy to log on and read the posts.
I wanted an experienced, successful HC. I wanted Fassel first and Green second, but figured that we wouldn't get either. I am excited about Green. I don't think anyone can say that the Cardinals are not running the team differently nowadays.
Lets put together a good staff and the excitement will be even better.

What if fassel dosent get a coaching job? There arent many remaining. I dont think he would take the oakland job because of Al and I dont think the Falcons want him. His only shot in my eyes is buffalo. Marv levy has said he wouldnt mind coming back to coach.

Do you think that Fassel would come here to be an OC again? That would be probably bigger than the Denny Green hire.

Who do some of you think the DC will be? Right now i have no idea. Can't wait til the draft when we get manning.

FA is just around the corner also and seeing some big moves would be awesome. Im so excited for this off-season.

1. Fassel's contract with the Giants almost surely had a clause where he will not get paid the balance if he coaches with another team.

2. Can't see Green not being more involved in the offense. Fassel would be the type a defensive minded coach would need.

all right people, enough of this crap that fassel could be the oc for the cardinals. not going to happen. fassel going to be a head coach somewhere. if he dosen't get a head coach job, then he will sit on his butt and collect the rest of his pay from the gaints. more than likely he will get the buffalo job.
