49ers - Do have a desperate need for QB, but invested a late 3rd rounder, which doesn't prevent them from future choices, but gave them someone to develop.
Broncos - Have two guys competing for the starting job, drafted a guy in the first round. Still took a shot on a QB.
Browns - Have Cody Kessler, who started for them and was drafted last year. Yes, they need a starter, but they didn't have to panic and showed they weren't going to by trading down from 12.
Bills - Have a starter. Peterman just becomes another developmental option.
Bears - Just
paid a quarterback $15 million a year to start. They weren't "forced" at all.
Giants - Yeah, their two-time Super Bowl winning QB that has shown no signs of retiring really isn't a viable starting option.
I'm fine with saying that you just plainly don't like these QBs, but pretending they were taken out of desperation is silly. Really only the Texans were desperate and forced their hand because of that desperation. The other two desperate teams let the board fall to them and at least bought a lottery ticket.
