Defensively? No.
Yeah if it weren't the same problems we saw in regular season last year I'd think it was that Pendergrast's strength is in setting schemes to stifle the offense and in preseason you don't scheme that much. But when we saw the same problems the last 3 years you have to wonder.
Hmmm...If Pendergrast's defenses continue to be bottom 10 will the Bidwills eventually promote him to head coach?

I hate it when they say we have a bend, do not break, defense. All that means to me is that we hold them on the short plays and they make all the longs ones.
