That's according to Rod Graves. Now where I have heard that line before from Rod? Oh yeah it was last year, and the year before, and the year before.

Maybe they mean they're gonna let LD out the FA door and then run like heck after him!!!!!!
Aggressively going after backups (despite the need for at least 3 starters).

Totally agree .. lets see what he does over the course of FA before we all start jumping all over him ... some decisions are difficult to make and may not look good at first ... lets see how this plays out ..Give the Wiz at least one signing period before you put him in the electric chair. You folks are harsh. The guy just started and put together a solid staff and his first move to evaluate talent is lambasted, Whew!

Before you lump all of us together, you should consider one thing. The problem that most of us have is not the fact that Davis was let go, it was that we let him go for no compensation.
If Whiz decided that Big was not a fit for our team, fine. But I can guarantee that Big will be playing somewhere next year, and he will sign a pretty good sized contract. Other teams would have been willing to trade for the best offensive lineman available.

Didn't we get Marquis Walker as well? I call revisionist history.Anybody remember what Thomas Jones contract status was when we traded him to Tampa for a 12th round draft pick?
You sorted through the chaff and found the nub of the problem, my friend.

Ah yes. I can see that now. My apologies.Walker is who I was referring to with the 12th round draft pick line.
