Palmer is a good QB, nothing more & nothing less. Saying he's our best QB since Warner means almost nothing. Our QB's between the 2 wouldn't amount to a warm bucket of spit. Palmer's problem is that in crunch time, he just tries to do too much. Instead of taking what the D gives him, he gets greedy. He's always been that way & the better defenses in the lead know it and goad him into mistakes. Thus, we have not & will not win a SB with Palmer. Besides that, I think he's a great person and glad he played for the Cardinals!!

I don't think it's crunch time per se-- lots of one score games late over his Cardinal career where he has driven the team to the lead if not the win. Look at the last three wins in Seattle as an example.

The problems come when the team gets down by 2+ scores and there is this sense the team needs to wing it to catch up. He gets way too reckless in those situations and it snowballs. Granted, part of the hole in those games is where he throws a terrible early pick -- but if the D can keep the team in the game, he tends to come around. If not, we get Carolina (or at Buffalo) type performances.

He's not perfect, but I think he is good enough.

I'm happy the Cardinals have Palmer but I will be even happier when they have his replacement for him to tutor.

I listened to that live when Palmer called in to talk to Jim Hart, Listen to it, Carson talked about Harts long career and now I'm thinking Carson wants that too.
