The Suns play the young Cavaliers tonight with the Suns getting a chance to go back to .500 basketball. I will be interested in seeing Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters play together. I have not seen Waiters play live before. Paul Coro at azcentral gives a preview to the game at the link below.

It is interesting to note that O'Neal reportedly will not be ready to play tonight nor likely Saturday's game at Utah even though he attended shoot around today.

That means that Scola and/or Morris will get time at backup Center and Beasley at Power Forward, as in the last game. Which will give Brown and/or Tucker more playing time at the Wing. Hopefully, it will lead to changes in the lineup that started the season when O'Neal returns to backup Center if, in fact, he does.

I sure hope those guys choose basketball for a living. If they have to depend on their singing and whistling, they're going to starve.

This indeed might help the Suns short term but long term I think they will miss not having a true backup center especially with Frye out for the season to help play the 4/5.

None of this is really surprising. Going into the season, the Suns, on paper, were one of the weakest teams in the league. So far they haven't really done much to dispel that notion.

The Suns have really struck out with their draft picks except for Dragic who was a second round pick. No wonder they are where the are.
