Celtics at Suns 2-23-15

The Celtics visit the Suns tonight with a reported 7 p.m. Arizona start time. I'm not sure if IT will get suspended for tonight's game but he shouldn't. He received two technical fouls for protesting a horrible call by the referees in Laker land. Talk about a phantom call. See video at the link below.

I did not look forward to see IT exacting his wrath on the Suns but it would have been fun to watch. Maybe it still happens.

Looks like the ref may have been looking at his right elbow which went pretty high when he was still dribbling, but there wasn't much contact.

I wouldn't boo IT nor think he will get booed. The Suns knew his game when they traded for him. He got caught in a weird situation in Phoenix.

Yea but fans may see him as the reason why fan favorite Dragic became disgruntled. Again, I don't see it like that and it's not IT's fault but I think some fans might.

I hope fans do not view it that way as IT could have been traded to remove the problem if need be as ultimately happened.

Let me correct what I typed earlier. The Suns signed IT as a FA. They did not trade for him.

I think we did a sign and trade for him with the rights to Alex Origami (or whatever) going to the Kings.

Good to hear. Hopefully the gelling process doesn't take too long for Knight. Also I will be very curious to see how he does if the game is close down the stretch. He has been a very clutch player thus far in his career.

According to slinslin, Bledsoe and MkMorris are the best clutch players of their generation, and yet somehow the Suns lose every close game they are in. Go figure.

Suns are 2-12 in games decided by 5 pts or less. Worst in the league, I believe.

I don't think that's accurate, I thought we'd played more 5 point games than that. Horrible record in those games, that's for sure but I guess I'll go count them to see.

I didn't check but it might be accurate from some starting date other than the beginning of the season. But as they say, that's the risk of "assumed", it makes an ass out of u and med.

Even despite having 4 of 5 starters who are good defenders, our team defense still blows even against the bad teams.
