Did I hear it correctly?

Despite being champions,Celtics crowd was pretty angry and they definitely didn't enjoy seeing Stern on stage with his fake smile.
One can think it wasn't class action by Celt's but I think Stern has actually deserved it after the game fixing scandals, causing Kings' a championship.

No.

He was announcing the Finals MVP winner. The booing started when he said "over 22 point per game." They thought it was going to be Ray Allen.

Yes. The Celts fans booed Stern as soon as he was introduced and took the mike, before presenting the O'Brien trophy. Even in a situation like that, he's not likely to win any popularity contests with basketball fans, winners or not.

False.

Booing started when he was handed the mic.

Didn't notice that. Wasn't exactly listening that much. I just turned around when they were announcing the Finals MVP winner.

Also, right before he was announcing the MVP winner, he gave pause in hopes that the booing would settle, and after a while it didnt, and I THINK he responded with a "boo" under his breath. Coworkers heard it too

Arrogance even in the face of adversity.

I hope the Gorrila shoots a jersey into his mouth if he ever climb the podium at the all star game to make a speech in Phoenix.

Then why did you respond with such certainty?

Yes, they were booing Stern and good for them, that guys an idiot. He got lucky having LA and Boston in the finals, but otherwise he's been making a lot of bad moves lately that have hurt/will hurt the league.

I wondered why Stern started repeating "...troooth, yeah, it is the troooth.." Funny.
