The preseason must go. Bring on 2 games, increase rosters and season.

Doesn't change the fact that the Cardinals looked like morons tonight. It's a great scam by Arians. Knowing everybody puts the most emphasis on Pre Season game #3 he had the Cards do a three stooges routine in order to lull our opponents to sleep. :p

The Peterson offensive plays need more polish. Good ideas though.

Good game guys. Chargers offense is finally starting to click again. Our O line finally did well...especially against a pretty good Cards D who has been stingy thus far in pre season.

Very hard to stop Rivers and crew when he gets good pass protection. Then you add in an offensive mastermind like Whiz...its ova.

Our pass rush also had a good game. Freeney is going to make every team that passed on him (including Arizona who elected to go with Abraham instead) regret it. Keiser is so good that Stanton still has him in his head.

Chargers STs had its FIRST good game in so long. Very good to see that.

"The system works"

And what was that Arians quote...?

"The Cardinals will not cause the Cardinals to lose".

Looks like they did that tonight.

That it is.

You know Whiz is chuckling about it.

How do you let Philip Freaking Rivers get yards like that?
You do realize that Rivers is a 4 time Pro Bowler who led the league in passing just 2 years ago right?

The past few seasons he has had horrible pass pro resulting in his declining numbers.

Lets not pretend like Rivers is some scrub now...

So what you guys are saying is that he had zero say in the offensive game planning. Um, right.

Who said that? But need the horses. He dd t have them. Now if you want to argue that not having the horses was his fault well then there ya go. Don't make him a horrible OC though.

I think their saying that the Cards didn't have QB that was worth a damn. When they did have a good one (Warner) the Cardinals were a good team.

Nice touch by Bruce Arians there, giving Rashad Johnson a hearty hug despite losing the fumble recovery that led to a SD score.

No offense guys like but that sounds a lot like something the previous Chargers coach Norv Turner would do.....and we HATED Norv Turner.

Good luck with Arians. I was so thankful that the Chargers didn't get him. Way too old to be a first time HC and all his wins last year were in super close games and for a team that was driven by Pagano's medical condition.

Wow - this is what I get for letting my guard down, getting excited about the new regime and guzzling the Kool-Aid by the gallon. As a Cards fan for the last 16 years or so (since I moved here) I've had lots of valleys and a few peaks (like all of you) but I think this single game was the most drastic and harsh "take the wind out of my sails" episode yet. Of course, I try to remain positive but this one is gonna take some doing to really let hope and optimism get back into the saddle....
