Wow - this is what I get for letting my guard down, getting excited about the new regime and guzzling the Kool-Aid by the gallon. As a Cards fan for the last 16 years or so (since I moved here) I've had lots of valleys and a few peaks (like all of you) but I think this single game was the most drastic and harsh "take the wind out of my sails" episode yet. Of course, I try to remain positive but this one is gonna take some doing to really let hope and optimism get back into the saddle....

It is indeed. But he might have been able to get himself out of that mess if he hadn't changed his mind (and his direction) when he spotted the man in stripes. Why does it seem like we're the only team not smart enough to use those guys to our advantage?
