A while ago Maddog (I think) posted a link to a Chicago Cardinals' cap. The logo looks like a big Chicago Bear "C" with a smaller Cubs "c" inside of it. I thought that was the coolest thing since sliced bread (and before sliced bread, I thought the coolest thing was a bread knife). But, it was fitted and they only had poinhead sizes left.

I've since been on a mission to find Chicago Cardinals stuff. There's a lot of old football cards and programs available on eBay, but no hats or t-shirts.

Do any of you (particularly those who live in Chicagoland) know of a place where I can get my hands on old (or new "old") Chicago Cardinals stuff?

Very dificult to find, and I look constantly. I have a 1947 Championship hat with the above logo on it that my children bought me as a birthday gift about 10 years ago. I hardly ever wear it because it's irreplaceable. The "C" within the "C" hat was out about 2 years ago, and didn't stick around long because of slow sales. I also have two T-shirts with the "Ollie Matteson" bird runner on them which my sister special ordered somewhere. If I can get the info from her I'll pass it along.

Will do. If I can, I'll take a digital photo of the hat so you'll know what it looks like and might be able to find it.

Maddog posted it here a while back. At least, I think it's the same one. So, don't knock yourself out trying to post a pic.

I bought a 1947 Chicago Cardinals card off E-bay, it's pretty cool. I paid only a few bucks for it and it books for around 80, I thought that was a good find

Dig up Wrigley Field and about 10 feet down you shoud find some goodies. The first NFL game I saw was the Chicago Cards in 1944. The Dream Backfield may have been our best ever.

Chicago Cards T-shirt

the site is called thatsunsportsmanlike. I think I was simply missing a "w" which is why it didn't link.

You can simply plug that into Google/Bing/Yahoo, and
on the left side of the home page there are certain states they have shirts.

One for Illinois is an old Chi-Cards shirt.
