Can't stand Howard. I did not think Houston was going to win game 5. I hate the Lakers even more. I would love to see the Clipper take over that town.

tonight is further evidence that will NEVER happen, no matter how much we both want that to happen.

LOL... the arrogance of both the Clippers AND their fans is one of the most confusing things in all of sports considering they've never won ANYTHING and continue to be the biggest choke artists in the history of the NBA.

That's a little hard. Coke what? Their owner for what 30+ years never gave them a chance. This is a new team and franchise in just the last 4 years.

I don't think about the Cardinals anymore before JR. took over and the new digs.

I think they will. Young team with a long window with time to learn. Great coach. I say they get it done maybe this year or more likely in the next 3 years.

Clippers have outplayed the Rockets the last few seasons. In fact, Harden has had a lot of bad games against the clippers. You stop him, the series is over quick. That's taking into account CP3's injury. The blessing in disguise is that the Rockets only have two old tired guards who are career bench players...And past their prime.
Even a hobbled CP3 still gives the Clippers the edge. Now that we ( Clippers fan) don't have to face a top perimeter defense, expect more of Redick, Crawford (Rockets killer), and Barnes to have easier looks in this series. Don't be fooled by their (Rockets) first round win to the hobbled and turmoiled Mavs. That should have been a sweep considering what happened with Rondo in the middle of the series. Don't be fooled by Josh Smith either. he's coming back down to earth in this series...Book it.

3 things certain in Life:

1. death
2. Taxes
3. Clippers beating the Rockets in 6 games. Maybe 5.

Would never say something like this as a Cardinals fan. I'm not a Clipper fan but I hope your team wins. Can't see making that call. You got Clipper on your face.

You think they turn LA into a Clipper town in three years? You're drinking drano dude. :)

I mean... They're not that young. Paul prob has another couple years of his prime... A prime where he's never gotten the team out of the second round. And once he goes downhill, so will the team.

I mean... Do you realize that as AWFUL as the Lakers have been for that last two years they STILL get better ratings and sell more merch than the Clips?

Sadly, this is a Laker town and will always be one. This is a nice run by the Clips and with good ownership they have a bright future but nothing here is brighter then the Lakers, even in their darkest hours. I don't like it, but it's reality.

Houston will lose by out-choking the Clippers... betting against Josh Smith is always a good idea.

Can't see that. If so they need a back to back.

Clippers would literally have to win three 'ships in a row AND have the Lakers miss the playoffs each of the next three seasons for that to even be a slight consideration.

What a choke job by the Clippers. CP3 continuing to prove why he's never made it past the 2nd round in his life...big time choker.

This is all too typical of the Clippers.

Rockets have all the momentum and will be playing game 7 in front of their crowd...its not looking for the Clippers and Doc.

31/7/11 tonight. 71 assists and 8 turnovers in his last 6 games.

And yet got destroyed by the Rockets B unit.

Here's the best CP3 stat, better than all the ones you showed:

9 years in the NBA, never advanced 2nd round of playoffs EVER despite being such a highly touted player.

Dumb way of judging a player in a team sport. The last two series the Clippers lost Paul was the only guy who showed up. Stop listening to Skip Bayless.

Yeah, its totally Chris Paul's fault for not getting such illustrious franchises as the Clippers and Hornets deep in the playoffs.

I wouldn't hold any Western player's playoff record against them over the last 10-15 years. The conference is a monster. KG was undoubtedly one of the top 5 players of his generation, yet in the West he could only drag the Wolves out of the first round once. Carmelo (while IMO not as talented) similarly only once could get the Nuggets out of the first.

Its comical that the same guy who guy only 2 weeks ago knocked off the defending champions in a first round series FILLED with clutch play is now a giant choke artist because he couldn't prevent Josh Smith from playing out of his mind.

Yea that sure didn't stop people from judging LeBron during his first tenture with the Cavs. Same with Dwight, Melo etc.

Even Clippers fans are turning on CP3 because how he attacked the paint for only like one quarter.

Maybe, but what does it say about Harden that the Rockets went on that epic run with him on the bench?

Harden was trying to sell calls instead of just playing all night long. Taking him out allowed Rockets to get into rhytym instead of looking for ways to just draw fouls which the refs for the most part didn't get baited into.

I'm not a Josh Smith fan but he hasn't been that bad since arriving in Houston. 12 pts & 6 rebounds on like 45% shooting is lot better than anyone envisioned out of him I think.

Starting Josh Smith over Terrence Jones at PF has also made a difference in this series.

And he had went off in similar fashion in the 4th qtr in one of the playoff games against Dallas too in the first round and Rockets again almost pulled off a comeback but lost that one iirc.

But yea chances aren't he isn't gonna hit three 3s in the 4th qtr of game 7...

I can't stand flopping, and since it's 2 floppers for the Clips and 1 for the Rockets (in my opinion), I liked the outcome of the game.

Most Clipper fans are not arrogant. We have been trained to expect Lucy to pull the football out right before the big kick, very much like Cardinals fans.

I'll agree with you on most clipper fans, but there is a vocal minority in this city now who just don't know how to handle even just a smidge of success because they've never tasted it before.

as to the team, it's more difficult to argue. they've consistently acted like entitled babies for a couple years now.

So you wouldn't want him on the Suns?

Sure I would becayse he's fantastic in the regular season and amazing in the 1st round. Suns can't even get into playoffs so I would gladly give up a left nut for him.

Joe L has been conspicuous with his absence since Game 5. I'm sure he'll either show up if the Clips win Game 7... or not show up for a while if they don't.

Clippers are choking so hard. Down 15 now. CP3 looks like he doesn't want to go to the conference finals ever in his life.

Their playing scared as if they don't want to play the Warriors.
